I was able to get some good rest last night after a long day (what felt like days) of travel...I guess it actually was. I didn't get to bed until about 1 am, so all in all I was up for about 33 hours straight. We didn't have to be in the lobby the next day until 1:30pm, so we had time to hang out and check out the sights. Adson and I went to find some breakfast and ended up at "The Espresso Bar" where we had some great coffee and breakfast. Afterwards we walked around outside for a while and checked out the town. Later, we met the guys at the hotel to pick up our ride to rehearsal which was running a little late so we hung out in the lobby for a while. Once we made it to the rehearsal space we met all the guys from The Flower Kings, who are all really nice guys. It took a while to get our rehearsal going since we didn't have enough power adapters because all our gear uses "American power". It's much easier to just say "American power" than try to explain the boring voltage differences. We actually tried to use an adapter that we thought might work on my keyboard and it blew a fuse inside, so I got to spend about 20 minutes taking apart the keyboard, replacing the fuse and putting it back together.
Once rehearsal finally got under way, we ran through the songs and everything sounded great! After we finished we started to run through the Transatlantic encore music, and I'm not going to give anything away, but this should be a really cool encore.....for us and the fans! We are back at the hotel now and I'm going to try to rest up before we kick off the first show of the tour tomorrow night here in Stockholm!
